The joint solution consists of cost-effective and easy-to-install IoT trackers, which are attached to the containers and record all movements in real time. These trackers transmit the location data to our thingsHub software, which collects, analyzes and forwards the data to platbricks®, a modular logistics platform from Arvato Systems. Here, logistical processes are managed efficiently and reliably as part of container management. Users have a complete overview of stocks and their changes at all times and are actively informed of any anomalies in the orders to be processed so that they can react promptly.
This innovative solution turns every load carrier into an intelligent object that automatically locates itself, checks itself in or out and takes inventory. The manual scanning of barcodes or passing through an RFID gate is therefore no longer necessary. The automation of these processes allows employees to focus on other, value-adding tasks.
