Description

Small GPS Asset Tracking Sensor

This very compact and robust locator is designed for monitoring objects where a small device is required, such as animals, farm animals, parcels, bags, bicycles and other objects.

The IP67 housing is robust and UV-resistant. It can be mounted on objects exposed to rain, dust and outdoor conditions.

The tracker can operate in extremely low power modes and with a battery life of up to 3 years, it can be connected to equipment and tracked without the need for frequent battery changes.

This small GPS tracking device has a powerful GNSS module (GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS), a 3D accelerometer and internal antennas for GPS and LoRaWAN communication.

Dimensions 85 mm x 63 mm x 24 mm
Batteries 3 x "AAA" size 1.5V alkaline or lithium batteries
Idle state 10uA (microampere)
Battery life with adaptive tracking The tracker can be set to use Adaptive Tracking Technology, which uses accelerometer and GPS data to intelligently determine if it is moving to send frequent updates or to reduce the update rate to once a day when the device is idle - to preserve battery life.

Up to 3 years at one position per day (at 25°C)

Operating temperature -20°C to +60°C
High sensitivity GPS
  • supports simultaneous GPS and GLONASS and other GNSS systems
  • 72 channel high-sensitivity receiver
  • -167dBm industry-leading tracking performance
  • Optimum quick start performance
Configuration The most common configuration parameters can be updated via LoRaWAN downlink messages.
