ZfK Interview by SmartMakers - "Where No Mobile Network Reaches"

In the current issue of ZfK (Zeitung für kommunale Wirtschaft) from April 2017, an article by SmartMakers has been published. In an interview, SmartMakers were asked about the current conditions and activities. With the apt title "Where No Mobile Network Reaches," the article discusses the advantages of LoRaWAN technology and its diverse applications compared to, for example, WLAN. The security of such a network is also addressed, and testimonials from Stadtwerke München and Karlsruhe demonstrate the growing interest in radio technology. The last section leads to the much-discussed topic of new business models for municipal utilities/energy providers.
