Julia Bayer

Julia got a taste of the industrial air early in her career. Her background in logistics has kept her close to real operations for many years. In warehouses, in material flows, in the very concrete questions that arise daily in a logistics operation. This experience remains her foundation to this day.

Together with Sebastian, she founded SmartMakers and has since been responsible as COO for the operational development of the company. Her particular focus is on customer development. More specifically, on the question of how an initial idea becomes a productively used solution that actually changes everyday life in the company.

For SmartMakers customers, Julia is a key contact. She takes on solution consulting in the areas of Track & Trace, Asset Tracking, and the overall improvement and automation of logistical processes.

She accompanies companies from requirements analysis, through the purchasing process and beyond. Even when implementation is underway and the solution has arrived in operation, she remains a sparring partner for her contacts. She knows that the most exciting questions often arise only when the first data becomes visible.
