By combining Kerlink's Wirnet iFemtoCell indoor LoRaWAN Gateway and its robust Wirnet iStation outdoor LoRaWAN Gateway with LoRaWAN-based GPS Trackers and the thingsHub platform from SmartMakers, the IoT Asset Tracking system continuously monitors the position, condition, and status of goods, such as load carriers, shipments, containers, tools, and equipment.

The system generates real-time information, simplifying the work of logistics managers and operational teams. In large industrial facilities, the IoT Asset Tracking system also wirelessly delivers energy data from devices as well as pump and motor conditions, and monitors condition values and fill levels. In these custom LoRaWAN networks, battery-powered IoT sensors transmit these values over long distances and deep into buildings for several years, freeing company personnel from time-consuming condition checks and enabling automated processes that were previously not possible.
