MISSION

The Internet of Things, in other words the intelligent interconnection between devices and machines over the Internet, can create global economic added value of up to 11 trillion dollars in 2025. This would correspond to around 11 percent of the global economic output.

SmartMakers enables mid-sized and large companies to use this potential. The management team’s many years of experience in digital transformation of classic business models was combined to offer a modular system for IoT enablement. You plan and size IoT radio networks, analyze supply requirements and potential locations, advise the customer regarding radio coverage aspects and site configurations, carry out on-site surveys, create the network and system plans, optimize existing networks and accompany planning and implementation projects.

There will be a wide range of exciting tasks for you:

  • Planning of IoT network and application solutions
  • Design and planning of digital radio networks
  • Management, planning, and supervision of projects
  • Coverage, capacity and frequency planning
  • Conducting and preparing technical analyses and studies

Our expectations:

  • University degree or comparable education
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in digital radio, project management, radio planning tools
  • Experience in the embedded area (“hardware, software, device/CPE manufacturers”)
  • Practical experience in embedded development, especially based on Linux
  • Programming knowledge in C, C++, Golang, and Node.js
  • Ability to work independently, reliably and structured
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as contact and communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
